It's hard for me to say this. So I’m sitting here wondering why it's so hard for me to say this. It's because I really want you to know how much your support of the Blood Moon Regale means to me. I mean really, really want you to know. It's difficult to say thank you in just the right way to make someone gets it. It seems like such a short phrase for such a big sentiment, but… Thank you.

Thank you for caring about this project. Thank you for looking at the website, buying tickets, making the drive, getting up early, staying up late... ya know. We deeply appreciate it all.

So, here's my review: We pretty much kicked ass this year! The guest dancers brought inspiration and life to the event and Hot Pot was at the top of their game, as usual. The Friday-night fire show was completely magickal. The Saturday-night Showcase was sick. And the afterparty… Well, there just aren’t the words to express everything it means to me.

You all know how much I need you. I couldn't pull it off without all of your expertise in your fields. Your talent is underrated, underbilled and underpaid. “Thank you” is as best as I can say it, but you know if you ever need Hot Pot, we are there for you… no questions asked.

But we’re not done. We are already excited about the 2009 Blood Moon Regale and have so many interesting things in store for you! Be sure to check our website often, because I know you'll want to stay in the loop.

Shakra's bringing the creepy-crawlies, the heebie jeebies, and their unique blend of fusion all the way from Washington, DC! This chronically high-energy cardiovascular workshop focuses on the big powerful movements characteristic of Shakra's unique "Transfusion" style, which injects elements from donor styles such as African, Bhangera, Hip Hop, Modern, and Bellydance. Be prepared to jump, shout, twist, stomp, slide, bend, drop, stretch, fling, toss, shake and itch, itch, itch. Bring ample fluids... You're gonna need 'em.
